Crews say there has been no significant growth on the fire due to the cooler weather conditions this morning.
The fire did threaten power lines, and crews on the field are monitoring the situation. They are securing the fire perimeter to gain containment.
About 10 engines are on site, and hand crews are utilizing helicopters for bucket drops in the higher country on the north and northeast flank of the fire.
