DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The “Duck Club Fire” is currently burning in Davis County with 0% containment, according to an update from Utah Fire Info on Saturday. The fire is reportedly lightning-caused.
“The fire remains moderately active on the north side with 0% containment,” fire officials said. “The south end is inactive, with no visible smoke.”
Two helicopters are responding to assist with suppression efforts today, July 5. A recon flight took place at 9 a.m. prior to their response.

The fire was estimated at 3-5 acres as of Friday night. It is reportedly visible west of Layton in the wetlands.
“No immediate threats identified at this time based on current fire behavior and location,” fire officials said.
Firefighters remained on scene overnight to monitor the wildfire.
