A Heat Advisory includes all of Tampa Bay’s counties Sunday from 12pm to 6pm as afternoon high temperatures climb into the mid-90s again and will feel like the triple digits for several hours.
After a soupy and sunny start to the day, a few clouds will build in as temperatures climb well above average by the mid-afternoon near 95° Sunday. Thanks to persistent humidity, temperatures will feel more like 105-112°.
Only a few spotty areas of rain and storms will develop through the afternoon and evening with a 30% chance of rain.
Rain chances remain limited and highs stay above average through the beginning of the workweek. Deeper tropical moisture will enhance rain chances by the midweek, helping to knock temperatures back down to normal in the low 90s.
