TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — One person is injured after a vehicle crash involving a motorcyclist and a truck on Sunday.
The Tampa Police Department responded to the crash just after 4 p.m.
According to police, the motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
As of 5:40 p.m., westbound lanes of Hillsborough Avenue are closed between Himes Avenue and Dale Mabry Highway.
Travelers should seek alternate routes and avoid the area while an investigation is underway.
