LIVE: The cost of living and the war in Iran | BBC News

Farmers in peak planting season in the UK are grappling with spiralling costs as the Iran conflict pushes up the price of fuel and fertiliser.

Farmers have told the National Farmers Union they can’t absorb the extra costs and food prices will likely have to rise as a result.

Meanwhile many airlines around the world have had to take emergency measures to counter the rising cost of fuel, which typically makes up 20-40% of their operating costs.

BBC Your Voice are in Lancashire, England, discussing the impact of the war on farming, fuel and food.
