DENVER (KDVR) — Three off-duty police officers were celebrated for their life-saving actions at the Monarch Casino Resort Spa, Black Hawk, according to a social media post from the Lakewood Police Department.

The department said that a few nights ago, agents Narro, Pacheco and Folescu were enjoying an off-duty visit to Black Hawk casino when a guest became unconscious and stopped breathing.

The three leapt into action, confirmed there was no pulse and began CPR.

They performed CPR for nearly three minutes until they could administer an automated external defibrillator and continued CPR until local EMS arrived at the scene and took over.
