TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — One person is dead after an altercation at a Taylorsville home early Saturday morning, according to Taylorsville Police.
At around 2:30 a.m. on July 5, police responded to a residence in the area of 5000 S and Redwood Road on reports of a fight that had broken out, according to Lt. Aaron Cheshire, Taylorsville Police.
A male and female were both injured during the fight, though the male was found by police curbside in the road where the fight happened.
Police reportedly conducted life-saving measures on the male but he passed away at the scene. The male did not have any gunshot wounds, police said.
The female was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries. No arrests have been made in this investigation, which is currently ongoing.
