(FOX40.COM) — A man is dead after getting hit by a light rail train on Monday, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
SPD said officers responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a light rail train around 1:45 p.m. on 19th Street and T Street.
According to SPD, the man was on an electric scooter at the time of the collision.
19th Street and T Street are closed as officers remain active at the scene.
Officers advise drivers to use an alternate route.
