KELLEYS ISLAND, Ohio (WJW) — Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries when a small, single-engine plane crashed Friday on Kelleys Island.
Erie County Sheriff Paul Sigsworth confirmed to FOX 8 News the crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. at Kelley’s Island Municipal Airport.
Kelley’s Island police, firefighters and EMS workers responded.
The two injured were transported to a hospital for observation, Sigsworth said.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating.
