Today, the UK government confirmed it will deploy HMS Dragon and helicopters with counter-drone capabilities to protect Cyprus after attacks on a British base. It comes as Israel says it has carried out new attacks on Iran’s “leadership compound”, whilst Iran continues to target energy sites in the region.
At the same time, the UK Chancellor Rachel Reeves insists her economic plan is working in an ‘uncertain’ world as the UK growth forecast was lowered for 2026.
