EMERY COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Search and rescue crews are on scene of a reported drowning at Huntington State Park.
In a Facebook post, Sheriff Tyson Huntington with the Emery County Sheriff’s Office says their dispatch center received a 911 call around 4 p.m. stating that a man a drowned.
Emergency personnel from several agencies are on scene assisting in trying to locate the possible victim, with Utah State Parks searching the water with sonar and the Carbon County Dive Team has members in the water searching.
The sheriff’s office is asking people to stay away from the park and area as the search is ongoing.
