(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department is searching for two suspects who fled from a vehicle connected to a burglary during a traffic stop on Fruitridge Road Saturday afternoon.
Around noon, SPD attempted to pull over a vehicle on Fruitridge Road near Vista Avenue and Ethel Way. Police said the driver and two passengers fled from police. The driver was detained, however, the others are still on the loose.
SPD said a perimeter has been set up around the neighborhood to find the suspects. Officers believe they are still in the area. An SPD helicopter is also at the scene.
