(FOX40.COM) — The person suspected of stabbing another person to death in South Hagginwood on Sunday turned himself in to the Sacramento County Jail, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Police said 23-year-old Eugene Brooks of Sacramento turned himself in on Tuesday in connection with a stabbing that left one person dead around 1 a.m. on Rio Linda Boulevard.
SPD confirms that Brooks will remain in jail on homicide-related charges.
