FORT WORTH, TX (KDAF) – Over in Fort Worth you can spend the day at a lake with a sandy beach enjoying slides, diving boards and more.
Burgers Lake has been a summer hotspot for more than 90 years. It opened in 1929 and has seen generations of families come and enjoy the facilities.
The lake is 20 feet deep and is spring fed. It is chlorinated though, which gives it a unique color. Around the lake there are diving boards, slides, and even a trapeze that you can use to swing into the water!
