ST. LOUIS – Some would say there’s no place like St. Louis on July 4th, and Friday night proved it.

The fireworks have faded, and the Celebrate St. Louis Festival wrapped up downtown after two days of music, food and fun.

“I’m here  from New York. I’m here visiting St. Louis what better place than  to let Freedom ring right under the arch go St. Louis Rock and Roll,” Zed Rosenberg said.

From sizzling food vendors to spectacular stage performances, Celebrate St. Louis is once again delivering high energy and hometown pride.

FOX 2 caught up with members of a local teen youth group, who advocated for individuals to make memories and stay connected with others.

They’re not alone, as families, friends and first-timers were soaking up every moment, whether it’s dancing to live music or lining up for festival eats.

Organizers say they’re already looking ahead to next year.
