HARLEM, Manhattan (PIX11) – A tree fell on a person in Harlem during severe storms on Monday, according to the FDNY.
It happened on West 148th Street and Bradhurst Avenue around 8:30 p.m. A large tree could be seen in the middle of a crosswalk, a video on Citizen App showed.
Firefighters pulled branches off the tree, possibly trying to move it from the roadway.
Fire officials said the victim was taken to a local hospital. Their condition is unclear, according to the FDNY.
