Trump claims King Charles ‘agrees’ Iran shouldn’t have nuclear weapon in banquet speech | BBC News

US President Donald Trump said King Charles believes Iran must not have a nuclear weapon, telling a White House banquet: "Charles agrees with me – even more than I do”.

At the dinner, King Charles reiterated the importance of Nato and other alliances with the US in a "contested world”.

But for the most part, the King and Trump kept the mood light, with the royal teasing: "If It wasn’t for us, you’d be speaking French”.
