WESTFIELD, Ind — A Westfield man has been arrested following a weapons and drug dealing investigation.
The Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force says they observed Deion Orr participate in multiple drug deals during their multiple weeks-long investigation. Several of these deals took place while Orr’s small child was in the vehicle, according to the Westfield Police Department.
IMPD conducted a traffic stop of a known buyer, which led to the recovery of cocaine, marijuana and a stolen firearm. Police executed a search warrant at Orr’s apartment in Westfield on June 23 and reportedly seized the following:
- Rifle and handgun
- Bullet-resistant body armor
- 5–6 lbs of marijuana
- Prescription pills
- $13,000 cash
- Drug packaging materials
Orr has been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, dealing marijuana, possession of a legend drug, neglect of a dependent and possession of marijuana.
