QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police have determined that the two victims from Saturday’s apparent murder-suicide are related.

The 41-year-old woman and the 2-year-old deceased toddler are related, and the incident was domestic, according to police sources.

The NYPD made the announcement Sunday evening.

Officers responded to 63-35 Forest Ave in Queens for a reported assault just after 7 p.m. on Saturday. Police found a 54-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest, along with the woman and child.

All three were taken to a local hospital. The man is reportedly in stable condition, according to police.

The woman, Ana Pilatagsi-Moposita, and the child, Analiz Cruz, were pronounced dead at the hospital as a result of their injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
