Rescuers are searching for four people after a storm capsized a boat in Vietnam’s top tourist destination, Halong Bay. Dozens of bodies have been recovered from the bay, north-east of Hanoi. At least 35 of the 49 people aboard the ferry are known to have been killed in the incident.
Crews have been battling poor conditions ahead of the expected landfall of Typhoon Wipha which is now approaching Hong Kong after battering China. The accident is one of the worst in the archipelago in years.
