Ambulance officers were called to the property on Walkerville Terrace at Gilberton about 7pm on Monday after the man’s carer could not gain entry and requested a welfare check.
The suspect — a 30-year-old woman whom police said lived at the complex, and who has since been charged with murder, trespass and property damage — was arrested last night at a neighbouring property in connection with a break-in.
