Ukrainian defence officials have reported that the Russian occupying forces have suffered over 190,000 (one hundred ninety thousand) military casualties since the start of 2025. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the exact number of Russian losses stands at 194, 140 (one hundred ninety four thousand one hundred and forty).
This staggering toll is the result of continued successful military operations by Ukrainian defence forces, who have been working around the clock to repel the ongoing invasion and restore full sovereignty to Ukraine. Despite relentless assaults by the Kremlin’s military machine, Ukrainian defenders remain resolute, pushing back enemy forces and inflicting heavy damage on Russian troops.
Ukrainian military leadership praised the courage and commitment of its soldiers and volunteers, expressing gratitude for their daily sacrifices in the defence of freedom and national independence.
