Ukraine’s “Spider Web” Operation BEGAN THIS WAY: Video footage released

Ukraine’s Security Service, SBU, has published first footage revealing how it launched its large-scale “Spiderweb” operation targeting over forty Russian strategic bombers in Russian territory last week. The footage circulated in social media shows the departure of a truck with a modular house from which drones were later launched at designated Russian targets. The truck with modular houses is seen heading off on a mission. The SBU launched an audacious and large-scale drone attack on four Russian military airfields on Sunday in what became Ukraine’s largest-range attack on Russia. The complicated military operation that had been in preparation for a year and half year, was carried it various phases. In the first stage of the operation, Ukrainian Security Service transported FPV drones to the Russian territory and hid them in makeshift houses placed on trucks. In later stages of the operation, the drones in these modular houses were directed to designated Russian targets via remote controller. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy hailed the operation as “brilliant” and revealed that all Ukrainian troops involved in this were safely removed from the Russian territory. Ukraine said 41 nuclear-capable long-range bombers were hit in the attack, with 34 per cent of Russia’s fleet of air missile carriers destroyed – worth about $US7 billion.
