A daycare at 87 Avenue and 91 Street in Edmonton was evacuated on Wednesday after fire broke out in the upper floors of the apartment where it’s located. District Chief Jamie Wilson of Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says no one from the daycare or apartment was injured.
Building resident Michael Maclean says the fire spread fast and he escaped his suite with just his cats and his girlfriend.
