Poland’s Border Guard turns 35 today, and it is getting a major funding boost. Over 20,000 officers protect more than 3,500 kilometers of Polish borders by land, sea, and air.
On Friday the Polish Defense Minister announced the Border guard will receive additional financing that will be used to purchase helicopters and anti-drone systems.
