Soldiers from the 422nd Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment of the LUFTWAFFE, 17th Army Corps, struck a tugboat and a cargo ship in a port on temporarily occupied territory.
A video frame from the strike drone was shared on the unit’s social media.
It appears Russian forces were using these vessels for illegal maritime transport.
The regiment reported that the drone strike damaged the cargo ship, while the tugboat was destroyed.
“The large cargo barge was damaged, and the sea tugboat was destroyed. Loading and unloading did not take place,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, the military did not provide details of the operation or the exact location where they tracked and struck the vessels.

LUFTWAFFE soldiers recently targeted a Russian 9K515 ‘Tornado-S’ multiple launch rocket system with a drone near Melitopol, on the E58 highway between the villages of Chekhovgrad and Udachne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The maximum firing range of such an enemy system is 120 km, and each individual rocket in a salvo can receive its own guidance coordinates.
In early April, UAV operators of the 422nd Regiment struck two locomotives in the southern direction.

This railway equipment was used to transport personnel and ammunition for the Russian army. A reconnaissance drone guided the strike.
In March, the regiment conducted a series of successful operations, destroying and damaging a significant amount of Russian invaders’ equipment and targets.

In particular, two launchers of the Buk-M1 air defense system were hit.
