Fire that started in Russia’s Tuapse oil refinery at the Black Sea has intensified and spread to oil reservoirs after the resumed Ukrainian drone attack last night. The attack caused oil spill in the Black Sea and environmental problems in the surrounding area. The resumed attack on the night leading to April 28, intensified the fire. According to media reports, last night’s attack that was the third one in the past two weeks, sparked more fire. The two previous attacks occurred on April 16 and 20. Krasnodar region’s Governor Veniamin Kondratyev announced that 164 people and 46 pieces of equipment were deployed to extinguish the "massive fire at the oil refinery." The Tuapse oil refinery is designed to export Russian oil by sea.
