New incidents of resistance among Russian military personnel have been recorded on the left-bank part of the Kherson region . This was reported by the guerrilla movement "ATESH" on its Telegram channel.
According to information from inside the 1st Battalion of the 205th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Army, individual soldiers were planning to deliberately set fire to their own fortifications. According to ATESH sources, these actions are aimed at putting pressure on the command. The military is trying to sabotage orders in order to avoid participating in senseless assaults that are doomed to failure. The level of discontent in the unit is reported to have reached a critical level. Particularly outrageous is the behavior of the unit commander Eduard Shandura, who is accused by his subordinates of irresponsible command and the use of Russian soldiers as "cannon fodder" for personal gain.
In addition, "ATESH" recalled previous scandals related to this brigade. One of the commanders with the call sign "Skif" regularly used physical violence against his subordinates. Despite this, he was transferred to the General Staff of the Russian Federation, which further angered the military.
Earlier, over 100 Russian soldiers who refused to continue the conflict in Ukraine have allegedly staged a rebellion in Yekaterinburg, only to mysteriously disappear afterwards. According to the news outlet ASTRA, around 100 Russian Armed Forces personnel were reportedly forced onto buses from a military commandant’s office in Chebarkul in Chelyabinsk region and transported to a tent camp near Yekaterinburg. Among them were injured individuals, many using crutches. These soldiers reportedly refused to fight for various reasons but were neither released for medical treatment nor allowed to submit official reports refusing participation in the conflict. Instead, there were attempts to forcibly board them onto a plane bound for Rostov and thereafter to combat zones.
However, this time the soldiers revolted. They demanded justice, medical aid, and a probe into their circumstances. One soldier specifically voiced: “They are sending us to the front, even though we are on crutches! We mean nothing to this army; we are not treated, just discarded like garbage.”
Sadly, their protest did not succeed. According to documents acquired by journalists, these soldiers were officially considered under investigation for “unauthorized absence”
