U.S. company BlackSea Technologies has presented a drone built in one month with a modular payload system.

This was reported on the company’s official X page.

The developer will exhibit the Comet surface drone near the pier at the Sea-Air-Space 2026 exhibition.

The drone is designed for a range of missions, from reconnaissance and electronic warfare to air defense using AIM-9X and AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, as well as radars for target search and an optical detection and tracking system.

The vessel is 13.1 meters long and 3 meters wide. Its maximum speed exceeds 83 kilometers per hour. Total payload capacity, including fuel, is up to 4,535 kilograms.

Its endurance range reaches 1,852 kilometers while carrying 1,360 kilograms of cargo at 74 km/h in seas up to force 3.
Its combat mission range is 926 kilometers with a payload of 3,400 kilograms at 37 km/h in storm conditions up to force 3.

Militarnyi previously reported that a U.S. company, Seasats, introduced the high-speed Quickfish interceptor surface drone, capable of operating in storms with waves up to 6 meters high.
