EUROPE MAY FACE MORE U.S. TROOP CUTS
As the U.S. withdraws some of its troops from Europe, Russia is testing the alliance’s response capabilities. Moscow issues threats against Latvia for allegedly allowing Ukrainian drones to reach targets in Russia. The Baltic country rejects the accusations and repeatedly issues air raid alarms as drones violate its own and neighboring airspace.
ISRAEL FACES FLOTILLA FALLOUT
Poland issues a 5-year entry ban for Israel’s security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, over the mistreatment of detained humanitarian activists who were heading for Gaza in an international Sumud flotilla. TVP World has reached out to the Polish branch of the Flotilla as the organization intends to file a lawsuit against Tel Aviv.
