DIU Drones Strike Russian An-26 Aircraft and Two Radars in Crimea

Ukrainian strike drones managed to evade Russian air defense in Crimea and hit an An-26 military transport aircraft and two radar stations.

The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that the operation was successfully carried out by the Prymary unit.

The drone struck the An-26 at the moment when the engines were starting.

It hit the left wing along with the engine.

“The crew of the Russian invaders was strictly forbidden to take off by the masters of the DIU special unit,” the intelligence noted.

The strike drones also managed to hit the Russian 55Zh6M radar system and the 64N6E hidden under the dome, which served as ‘eyes’ for the S-300/S-400 systems.

On December 11, Russian propaganda channels reported the loss of an aircraft in Crimea.

There was also information about the dead and wounded at the scene – probably among the crew or the representatives of the airfield commandant’s office.
