Drone Attack Hits Orsknefteorgsintez Oil Refinery in Orsk

Strike drones attacked the large Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in Orsk early in the morning.

After analyzing eyewitness footage, OSINT analysts from ASTRA stated that the video was most likely recorded on Groznenskaya Street, which is within walking distance of the facility.

Previously, Mayor Artem Vorobyov confirmed the attack on the region and urged residents to stay indoors and keep away from windows.

In addition, temporary restrictions have been introduced at Orsk Airport for aircraft arrivals and departures.

The Orsknefteorgsintez plant is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia, located in the city of Orsk in the Orenburg region. It is part of the ForteInvest holding, which belongs to the Safmar Group owned by Mikhail Gutseriev.

The oil refinery can process about 6 million tons of oil per year. It produces a wide range of petroleum products, including gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and aviation kerosene. The Orsk refinery plays a key role in supplying fuel to the Ural and the Volga region, and some of its products are exported.

The facility was previously attacked in October and November 2025.
