Ukrainian drones carried out a massive strike on the Russian FSB headquarters near the occupied city of Henichesk on the Arabat Spit.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that the operation was carried out by the SSU’s Special Operations Center “A.”
“Thanks to this single operation, Russian losses amount to about a hundred invaders killed and wounded,” the President stated.
Along with the headquarters, a Russian Pantsir-S1 self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system was destroyed.
The headquarters consisted of nine buildings, each of which was targeted by Ukrainian drones.

The drones struck the roofs of the buildings and flew through the windows.
The strikes caused destruction and a massive fire.
“The Russians must feel that they have to end this war of theirs. Ukrainian medium- and long-range strikes will continue,” Zelensky noted.
The operation took place on May 17. On the same day, NASA’s FIRMS satellite monitoring service detected high thermal signatures at the strike sites.

In addition to data from the monitoring service, local residents reported a massive drone attack, which caused a large-scale fire.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have repeatedly targeted the area where the Russians have stationed their troops and command centers.

In particular, on November 1, 2023, the Ukrainian military eliminated three staff officers of the Russian Armed Forces with a strike using Storm Shadow cruise missiles against the command post of the Russian “Dnepr” group.
