Video footage has been released in social media capturing difficult moments that Russian troops encountered in the Dnipro River amid intensive Ukrainian attack. The majority of the footage shows Russian soldiers on speedboats trying to repel Ukrainian FPV drone attacks, with some danger-close encounters. Dnipro River remains a key strategic axis, with its western bank of Kherson region held by Ukraine, while the opposite bank and river-island areas remaining contested. Russian forces carry out frequent small-scale assaults on islands and river banks in the Dnipro delta area, especially near Kherson. Their aim appears to be to establish footholds, from which they can project firepower westward across the river. On 13 November, Volodymyr Zelenskiy visited the frontline near Zaporizhzhia region near the settlement of Orikhiv. Furthermore, he visited the city of Kherson, which lies just a few kilometres west of Russian-held positions across the Dnipro River.
