The European Union could be hours, if not days, away from finally releasing its €90‑billion loan to Ukraine, after Hungary’s outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán hinted that he may lift his veto. The Druzhba pipeline could be opened as early as Tuesday.

– AFTER ELECTIONS IN BULGARIA, RADEV SECURES PARLIAMENTARY MAJORITY 
It is official: Bulgaria’s former president and Russian sympathizer Rumen Radev has wom a resounding victory in Sunday’s parliamentary elections, securing a majority of at least 135 seats with 44.6% of the votes.

– IRAN–U.S. TALKS REMAIN UNCERTAIN 
In the latest turn of events, it is not clear whether Iran will attend the ceasefire talks in Pakistan or not, despite reports of President Trump stating that the U.S. delegation is on its way. This, as U.S. Navy vessels opened fire on an Iranian-flagged cargo ship – an act which Tehran called an act of terrorism.
