Estonia Receives Six French Caesar Self-Propelled Artillery Systems

Six French 155-mm Caesar wheeled self-propelled artillery systems have arrived in Estonia.

This was announced on Wednesday, August 6, on the Ministry of Defense’s X page.

This is the second batch of such new self-propelled artillery systems under a contract with Nexter (part of the KNDS conglomerate) from June 2024.

It provides for the supply of a total of 12 self-propelled guns. The contract also includes an option to order an additional number of systems if necessary.

The photo published by the defense ministry shows that the weapons were delivered to Estonia at night.
