A social media post by Israeli broadcaster KAN has sparked backlash from Croatia’s Eurovision delegation.
Croatian representatives LELEK said they were “disturbed” by comments made during the first Eurovision semi-final, accusing the broadcaster of mocking their culture and the message behind their performance.
The controversy began after KAN posted a screenshot from LELEK’s performance with a caption referencing henna tattoos.
The broadcaster later issued an apology on X.
