Explosion on the Trans-Siberian: DIU Cuts Off Russia’s Strategic Route

An explosion occurred on the Trans-Siberian Railway in Khabarovsk Krai, which completely stopped the movement of enemy freight trains.

On November 13, a Russian freight train derailed near Sosnovka as a result of a special operation of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.

The detonation tore up the railroad track and tore off the cars, turning the railroad section into a chaos of metal and rubble unfit for traffic.

The video shows the moment of preparation for the explosion – from the installation of the charge to the controlled explosion that demolished the Russian logistics corridor.

The Trans-Siberian Railway is the main route for the supply of weapons and ammunition, including cargo from the DPRK. That is why this branch is critical for the Kremlin.

The DIU’s strike has called into question the ability of Russia’s special services to protect strategic infrastructure even deep inside its own territory.

Damage to the highway means disruptions to schedules, delays in military convoys, and additional stress on bypass lines that are already stretched to the limit.

“Russian logistics again proved to be helpless in the face of the planned work of Ukrainian intelligence officers who are methodically ‘dismantling’ the enemy’s arteries,” the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said.

The operation was another step in the systematic destruction of Russia’s transportation capabilities and demonstrates that the DIU operates far and wide, the department added.

As a reminder, a recent DIU strike damaged a jet fuel additive production shop at a plant in Sterlitamak.
