In 2026, Ukraine may significantly increase the number of strikes on targets in Russia and the temporarily occupied territories . This opinion was expressed by Konstantin Krivolap, an analyst and aviation expert, on Radio NV .

"There’s no one left to interfere with our missile program. Therefore, I’m very much looking forward to all the products from Fire Point, our Neptunes, and our Sapsan. Regarding the Sapsan missiles, there have already been at least 10 incidents where it was difficult to determine what hit them. There were suggestions that it might have been ballistics, but where would the Ukrainians get ballistics? The Russians are keeping quiet, unwilling to admit it. Ours aren’t saying anything either, so the Russians don’t know what’s coming their way," the expert says.

He added that Ukraine is currently actively developing Russian S-400 systems. According to the expert, Russia has produced approximately 150 of these systems, some of which have been exported. "About 100 systems remain in Russia. Ukraine has already destroyed about 40-50 of these systems. Moreover, most of these systems were destroyed in Crimea. They are installing them, but we are constantly knocking out these S-400s and all the radars that could show how our drones are coming. I am expecting serious missile attacks on Crimea to begin in the new year, and Crimea will become completely uninhabitable for Russian military personnel," the expert added.

Recently, Ukrainian forces launched a large-scale attack against Russian military and oil facilities, striking assets in Russia and in occupied territories, including Crimea, Ukraine’s General Staff reported.

The Afipsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, the Uryupinsk oil depot in Vologograd Oblast, and two fuel depots in Crimea were struck, the military reported.

The statement follows reports of explosions at an oil depot near Simferopol, a chemical plant in the Russian city of Veliky Novgorod, and several energy sites.

The series of attacks aims to "reduce Russia’s offensive potential and disrupt the logistical support of Russian occupation forces," the General Staff said on Telegram.

According to Ukraine’s military, explosions and a large-scale fire were reported at the Uryupinsk depot and the Afipsky Oil Refinery. The full extent of damage is being determined.

Pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel Crimean Wind previously reported that the Uryupinsk depot and a power station in Smolensk were reportedly hit by drones.
