The first tracked amphibious BvS10 all-terrain vehicles for Sweden, Germany and the UK have rolled off the assembly line at the BAE Systems Hägglunds plant.

The vehicles are being supplied under a joint procurement project among the three countries – the Collaborative All-Terrain Vehicle (CATV) program.
A handover ceremony for the first three vehicles – one for each customer – has already taken place. The vehicles are based on the latest version of the BvS10, featuring an articulated steering system and dual cabin, which Sweden currently uses. They include variants for troop transport, logistics, medical evacuation, and command and control.
They are the first of 663 vehicles ordered under the CATV framework agreement.
Through separate contracts under the same framework, Sweden will receive 236 BvS10s, the UK 60, and Germany 140 by 2028.
BAE Systems shared that Germany has also signed an additional contract for another 227 BvS10s under the program.
The CATV program is designed to improve the transport of troops and materiel, including weapons, ammunition, food and specialized equipment, and to ensure mobility in difficult and mountainous terrain under extreme climatic conditions.
Currently, Austria, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom operate the BvS10 all-terrain vehicles.
