New images have emerged of fuel shortages in Russian regions. For example all week long, Primorye residents complained about problems with gasoline. The main ones were: lack of fuel at all gas stations and huge queues where it was available. Things got easier at the end of the week, but the situation remains difficult.
A massive fuel shortage occurred in Vladivostok on August 17. It affected not only large gas station networks, but also small private stations. There was a shortage of all types of gasoline, except diesel. According to gas station employees, this is due to delays in fuel trucks. If on the first day the deficit was observed everywhere, then on the second day at all gas stations, except NNK, the situation stabilized. At small gas stations and the Oktant, Ussuri and Benz networks there was a lot of gasoline. According to operators, the fuel arrived in the evening of August 17. After August 20, reports began to appear that a shortage of fuel of all grades was already observed throughout Primorsky Krai . Residents of Spassky, Partizansky, Arsenyevsky districts, Ussuriysky district and districts on the border with Khabarovsk Krai faced huge traffic jams at gas stations.
The auto drivers also noticed the lack of gasoline and queues at NNK. At the same time, at small gas stations, where the cost is 2-4 rubles higher than at federal networks, everything is fine. But only tourists and passers-by fill up there. Gas station employees say that gasoline quickly runs out, they bring it at lunchtime, and by evening it is gone, because there is a very large flow of cars.
The problem was hotly discussed on social networks. Some joked, others were indignant. However, everyone responded equally to the situation with the use of canisters. Some Primorye residents condemned those who not only pour gasoline into the tank, but also fill canisters for future use. The Ministry of Energy of Primorye has decided to send additional fuel trucks to Primorye districts due to a fuel shortage at NNK petrol stations . According to the Minister of Energy of the region Elena Shish, the fuel shortages arose due to the large tourist flow in the region.
There is a fuel shortage in Crimea and the Far East. There is no 95th on the peninsula, and there are huge traffic jams at gas stations in Primorsky Krai.
Crimean drivers are discussing in chats where they can still fill up. Motorists in Alushta write that the popular Atan chain of gasoline is sold only with coupons and special fuel cards — only organizations can issue them. In Sevastopol, there has been no 95th at chain gas stations for a week. When driving along the peninsula, you can see that there are dashes next to 95th, Crimean journalist and blogger Alexander Gorny shares with Business FM: "This year, more than 65% of tourists traveled to the peninsula by private vehicle, and, of course, as a result, there is a huge load on local gas stations. Many assume that they will fill up with 92-octane gasoline. People are very upset by the cost of the fuel itself, and we assume that it will be raised in Crimea, taking into account the Crimean coefficient, to 73-75 rubles for 95-octane gasoline. It has happened in recent years that the cost of a liter of fuel on the peninsula is on average 7-10% higher than on the mainland."
