At least one person has been killed and 36 wounded when Russia launched a large-scale missile attack across Ukraine Wednesday evening that continued into Thursday morning. Explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital shortly after three AM.
HUNGARY SUMMONS RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR AFTER STRIKE ON TRANSCARPATHIA
The Russian ambasador to Hungary has been summoned by Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán over Russia’s attack on the Transcarpathia region in Ukraine. The region is home to a sizeable Hungarian minority of around 100 thousand people.
AFD POLITICIANS INVITED TO RUSSIA’S ST. PETERSBURG ECONOMIC FORUM
Two politicians from Germany’s far-right AfD party have been invited to attend the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The event – often dubbed “Putin’s Davos” – is scheduled to take place in June.
