The Hezbollah group said it hit a launcher of Israel’s Iron Dome air defense system.
The group released a video of the incident.
The footage shows an FPV drone flying to the position and striking the launcher near the guides. The attackers then waited for technical personnel to arrive and carried out a second strike.
There are no reports of Israeli military casualties.
This is not the first time Hezbollah has claimed to hit Iron Dome launchers. A similar case was reported in June 2024, when the group used an Almas anti-tank missile system.

However, it was later determined that a highly detailed training mock-up had been hit.
Earlier, on May 4, Israeli forces were reported to have set up an armored vehicle base in Lebanon that was attacked by Hezbollah FPV drones. A Namer heavy armored personnel carrier was hit.
Such attacks using Hezbollah FPV drones are becoming more frequent. Recently, one drone also struck a Merkava Mk4 tank.
These incidents show that even modern Israel Defense Forces equipment remains vulnerable to low-cost precision weapons.
Israel is seeking to push Hezbollah forces away from its borders and reduce the threat of attacks on its northern regions, amid broader escalation in the Middle East following the escalation of the conflict with Hamas and Iran.
Israel aims to create a buffer zone, but the widespread use of drones may complicate these plans.
