What began as an unexplained stop turned into a serious accident on the S7 expressway near Warsaw.
A 55-year-old driver was seriously injured in a rear-end collision after his Volvo stopped in the left lane and was later struck at high speed by a BMW.
Despite the unusual location of the stop, neither passing police cars nor any other road users stopped to check on the driver before the accident occurred.
