A grain bulker is idling off the coast of the Israeli city of Haifa, reportedly waiting to unload. Ukraine says that the ship is carrying grain from the Russian-occupied regions, with Kyiv formally requesting an Israeli detention of the ship. This has caused a diplomatic spat between Ukraine and Israel, with their respective foreign ministries trading accusations regarding Israel’s alleged importation of grain that Ukraine says is stolen. In other news, Ukraine has launched major strikes against Russian military and energy infrastructure, including an oil pumping station in the Russian city of Perm. Russian strikes against Ukraine have also killed 5 people over the last day.
