The new humanoid robot Expedition A3 from Chinese company AGIBOT demonstrated kung fu techniques.
The demonstration video was published by Shenzhen Channel.
The previous version, AGIBOT A2, traveled 106.286 km on a single charge over three days, earning a Guinness World Record entry.
AGIBOT A2 completed the task in November 2025, operating until its battery was fully discharged:
The new version performs a sequence of complex kung fu movements, including airborne kicks, striking multiple objects in the air in succession and controlled steps while airborne.
The developments are positioned as civilian products. However, as in the case of commercial drones, DJI has not ruled out potential military applications.

U.S. defense startup Foundation Future Industries is developing the Phantom combat humanoid and plans to offer it for U.S. Army use.
The company plans to produce 50,000 such robots by the end of 2027.
Foundation Future Industries describes Phantom as a platform for the U.S. Army based on the concept of being “first body in and deadly,” intended to draw enemy fire and reduce risks for soldiers.
