In Lebanon, the IDF set up a parking area for armored vehicles, which was immediately attacked by Hezbollah FPV drones.
Footage released by the group shows that the Israel Defense Forces had positioned three armored personnel carriers and one tank behind buildings.
The operator conducted reconnaissance of the camp and then carefully selected the target.
The FPV drone struck the rear of a Namer heavy armored personnel carrier.
This is one of the few armored personnel carriers in the world with frontal armor protection.
Therefore, drones attempt to strike the rear or top of the vehicle.

The strike occurred in the city of Bint Jbeil, near the border with Israel. Such FPV drone attacks by Hezbollah are becoming routine. Recently, a drone also struck a Merkava Mk4 tank.
Such attacks demonstrate that even the Israel Defense Forces’ modern equipment is vulnerable to cheap and highly accurate weapons.
Currently, Israel is seeking to push Hezbollah forces back from its borders and reduce the threat of shelling and attacks, particularly in the northern regions of the country.

This is taking place against the backdrop of broader tensions in the Middle East following the escalation of the conflict with Hamas and Iran.
Israel’s ultimate goal is to create a secure buffer zone, but the modern format of warfare involving the widespread use of drones could complicate the implementation of these plans.
