Lasar’s Group under Ukraine’s National Guard have destroyed a concentration of Russian military equipment, including part of a BM-27 “Uragan” multiple launch rocket system complex. Video footage released by the Ukrainian military features precision strikes at the Russian military targets. In mid-April, the group detected a concentration of Russian equipment in a rear area in eastern Luhansk region. Reconnaissance was carried out by analysts and aerial reconnaissance crews of Lasar’s Group. All information about the location of Russian assets was passed on to strike drone crews. As a result, a 9T452 transport-loading vehicle from the BM-27 “Uragan” system; and 2 units of military equipment were targeted and destroyed. A command-and-staff vehicle was also struck in the operation. The Russian troops were clearly preparing to use the 9T452 during shelling of self-propelled launcher positions, as the vehicle was loaded with ammunition, the group said in a statement. However, the “Lazar” group turned the shells into a spectacular detonation with precise strikes. Back in 2023, Russians began pulling their equipment farther away from the front line more and more often. One of the main reasons for this was the Lasar’s Group drone, which they nicknamed “Baba Yaga.” Presently, Russian troops hide their assets at distances of at least 30–40 kilometers, but can still be reached by Ukrainian troops.
