Liutyi Drones Hit Russian Oil Refinery in Perm

Ukrainian Liutyi strike drones attacked a Russian oil refinery in the city of Perm on the morning of April 30.

The Exilenova+ Telegram channel reported the incident.

Local residents shared photos and videos on social media showing drones flying overhead and a fire at the facility.

The facility in question is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries, Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez, which processes over 13 million tons of oil annually.

The facility produces a wide range of products, including high-quality gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, and lubricants. The plant also processes associated petroleum gas.

This oil refinery is a key industrial asset for the region and one of the most technologically advanced in the country, supplying fuel to both the domestic market and export destinations.

Footage from the scene suggests that one of the refinery’s oil processing units was targeted by the Ukrainian drones.

The governor of the region confirmed an attack on “one of the industrial sites in Perm Krai,” but did not specify the name of the facility.

Fuel tanks are also still burning at the Perm oil pumping station, which was hit the previous day by SSU drones.

The station is responsible for pumping, storing, and distributing oil through Russia’s main pipeline network in the region.
