A stray Ukrainian drone was shot down in Estonian airspace on Monday by a NATO F-16 fighter jet. Authorities in Latvia had sounded the alarm earlier in the day that the drone had entered Latvian airspace and was heading north. Moscow took the opportunity to accuse Ukraine of planning to attack Russia from Latvian territory, a claim that Kyiv categorically rejected.
In other news, at least 11 civilians were killed in Russian strikes against Ukraine, with dozens more injured, and Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities have announced that four judges of Ukraine’s Supreme Court are being investigated for bribery.
To discuss this development and more, Ukraine Brief’s host, Benjamin Lee, was joined by Andrii Osadchuk, Ukrainian MP from the Voice Party.
